Principal – Oak Forest Elementary School (HISD)

Andrew Casler serves as the principal of Oak Forest Elementary in the Houston Independent School District. As a career educator with 14 years of experience in public schools, he continues to enjoy learning about how thinking and understanding develop in young minds. Andrew has served students as a principal, assistant principal, dean of instruction, technology teacher, and coach. He received both his Bachelor’s in psychology and his Master’s in educational leadership from the University of Houston.

While not collaborating with educators, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, two young children, and chiweenies. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and gardening.
