George is a Summer Associate at The CapStreet Group and an upcoming MBA candidate at Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. Prior to joining CapStreet, he was Vice President at Healthcare Growth Partners where he was responsible for deal execution across the firm and supported HGP’s market research and industry trend analyses. George has also interned with Boston Children’s Hospital where he conducted statistical research to estimate readmission rates based on patients’ diagnoses and risk factors. He previously interned with the Harvard Law Review and is actively involved in public policy, having served in multiple positions within the U.S. Senate and in the Houston Mayor’s Office, with such efforts rewarded by the proclamation of April 20, 2010 as “George Bailey Day” by the City of Houston. George graduated with honors from Harvard College with a major in Statistics and secondary major in Astrophysics. There he completed his Senior Honors Thesis, “Are Composite Scores for Hospital Quality Possible?,” a statistical analysis of healthcare data quality measurement. George is currently a CFA Level III Candidate and is also a volunteer mentor with Kids Hope at Bruce Elementary in Greater Fifth Ward.
