Julia K. Bailey
Julia Bailey started her career as a biostatistician specializing in cancer clinical trial analysis. She has worked as a statistical analyst at both the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts and at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She holds degrees from Stanford University, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Julia changed paths to raise her three children, and in her second career, she found her way to community engagement and leadership.
Julia serves as Chair of the Houston Learning Network, President of the Harvard University Club of Houston, and Fellow of the American Leadership Forum. In 2015, She received the Harvard Alumni Association Recognition Award for exceptional efforts resulting in outstanding and innovative programming for the Harvard University Club of Houston. Julia is also a Director of Paws for Therapy and enjoys visiting hospitals and nursing homes with her certified therapy dog – a Golden Retriever named Rupert.
